Backstage during the Creative Arts Emmys, “Drag Race” host RuPaul gave a hint about the upcoming 12th season of the hit series in one word: “Sensational!” He also shared his excitement for the upcoming inaugural season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK”,which will include “a lot of bad English puns.” He continued on to describe it as a “different flavor but still familiar”, so both British and American audiences alike will enjoy it.
After a two-year-long hiatus, Michelle Phan has returned to YouTube with a video simply titled “Hello :)”. She is recognized as one of the original beauty YouTubers after starting her beauty vlog 12 years ago. She quit YouTube in 2017, saying goodbye to her 10 million followers and 10 years of creating videos. Needless to say, her return generated a lot of excitement, landing her top trending worldwide on Twitter, with countless positive reactions from fans.
Beyoncé surprised fans with the announcement of a TV special entitled “Making the Gift”. The special provided an intimate look at the creation of every song on “The Gift”, the Lion King companion album, which featured a number of special guests. It also included exclusive studio footage, recording sessions and a rare look at her twins, Rumi and Sir Carter. The special was, of course, a hit.
K-Pop boyband Seventeen released their third studio album entitled “An Ode”, much to the delight of fans. The album boasts 11 tracks and was produced by the group’s collaborator Bumzu. It includes the previously released single “Hit”, also a Korean translation of their Japanese single “Happy Ending”. “An Ode” marks the first full- length release in almost two years after their 2017 release “Teenage”.
